Collins

A sour, lengthened: 2 : ¾ : ½ spirit : lemon : sweet, shaken, then strained over fresh ice in a tall glass and topped with 2–3 oz soda.

Shake everything except the soda — carbonation in a shaker goes flat or bursts the tin. Top last, and stir once, gently, from the bottom so the bubbles survive. The sweet comes down a little from a sour's ¾ because the soda dilutes the sharpness too.

What can I make with these?
