Ingredients

2 oz whiskey
1/4 lemon, sliced into 2 wedges
5 large mint leaves
1 oz simple syrup or maple syrup
Soda water

Instructions

Muddle the mint leaves in a cocktail shaker to extract their flavor, then add the lemon wedges and muddle again.

Add the whiskey and simple syrup, fill the shaker with ice, and shake until cold.
