Vodka Gimlet (A Couple Cooks)

The gimlet made smoother with vodka: two parts vodka to one of lime and only a quarter ounce of syrup, so it stays tart. A splash of soda on top is optional.

Ingredients

Multiply

2 oz vodka
1 oz lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup or maple syrup
Splash of soda water, optional

Instructions

Add the vodka, lime juice and syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill with a handful of ice and shake until cold.

Strain into a coupe or martini glass and top with a splash of soda water, if you like.
