8 mint leaves
1/4 to 1/2 oz simple syrup
2 oz bourbon

Instructions

Muddle the mint leaves with a little syrup in a julep cup.

Add the bourbon and fill the cup with crushed ice, then stir until the cup frosts on the outside, tasting and adding more syrup for a sweeter drink.

Top with more crushed ice to form a dome.
