Amaretto Sour (Love and Lemons)

A frothy, nutty amaretto sour with three quarters of an ounce of bourbon for backbone, sweetened with a teaspoon of maple syrup and dry-shaken with egg white.

Ingredients

Multiply

1 1/2 oz amaretto
1 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz bourbon
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 oz egg white

Instructions

1.
Shake the amaretto, lemon juice, bourbon, maple syrup and egg white without ice for 30 seconds to whip the egg white, then add ice and shake until well chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
